Troubleshooting

401 Unauthorized

• Confirm the key is present and not truncated
• Make sure the tool sends Authorization: Bearer YOUR_APPLEAI_API_KEY
• Re-run the curl health check with the same key

404 Not Found

• Check whether the tool expects https://api.appleai.codes/v1 or the raw host
• Confirm the client did not append an extra /v1
• Verify the tool is not calling a vendor default hostname instead

Model not found

• Make sure the route name is exact
• Remove stale local aliases and restart the tool
• Test the same route in another client before assuming the provider is down

​

Streaming or session start failures

• Update the CLI or extension first
• Retry with a simpler model route
• Check whether the client uses a protocol that requires direct provider support
